Frequently Asked Questions

What is floor matting?

Matting is a functional and affordable flooring that is designed to protect underfoot from grassed areas only.  It is not advised for dancing and for that  we would suggest upgrading your flooring to carpet,  incorporating a dance floor.

Is there a use for linings?

Yes, not only do they serve the purpose of providing an eloquent space and add a lovely ambiance they also act as an insulator against condensation and give the appearance of warmth.  We highly advise their use.

Isn’t it too cold in the winter for a marquee?

No definitely not as we use comprehensive heating systems which rapidly warm the marquee and invariably they end up being turned down but it’s better to be hot than cold!

How long can I hire a marquee for?

Our service is a 3 day marquee hire but with notice, this can be extended up to 1 week providing this period only covers one weekend.

How do I go about making a definite marquee hire booking for my event?

We require a 25% (non refundable) deposit in order to secure the event date and equipment (the remaining balance is due at least 14 days prior to the event date).

Do I need to be present during set up?

Although our team will be working to an action plan so your presence is not essential, it is always preferable for the client to be present in order to  consult with us on decisions which may arise during set up.

When would my marquee be set up and taken down and how long does it take?

If you are hiring the marquee over a weekend, set up would take place on either the Thursday or Friday prior to the event and dismantled during the early part of the following week.   The time taken to set up or dismantle is determined on the size of equipment hire and more exact timings will be confirmed nearer to the delivery date and naturally they are mutually agreed.
